Coordinator Team in (incoming goods unit)

Rotor DC (Rotor Déconstruction) is a Brussels-based cooperative company specialising in the refurbishment and sale of reusable building materials. As a result of the expertise of the non-profit organisation Rotor (active in the sector since 2005), the cooperative Rotor DC has already processed several thousand tons of materials that could be reused in new projects. Rotor DC is recognised as an important and pioneering actor in the implementation of the principles of the circular economy in Brussels. (www.rotordc.com)

Context and function

In the framework of the development of its activities, Rotor DC is looking for a new person (3/5° or 4/5°) responsible for the organisation of the team of incoming goods (team in). This team is responsible for sorting materials, taking pictures, technical description and the preparation of the sale (except workshop work).

Main responsibilities and tasks

- organisation of the weekly team meeting

- communication with other team leaders (process & out teams)

- purchasing supplies

- budget follow-up with the operational manager

- take part in discussions on the development of the company

Profile

- person looking for a committed job, sensitive to environmental issues within a dynamic team

- at least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a management position

- very good knowledge of English is required, bilingual French/Dutch is a plus

- good organisational skills, autonomous, team spirit and initiative

- good knowledge of materials/techniques, or be motivated to learn

- knowledge of presentation techniques (photo, text, technical data sheet)

Conditions

- workplace : Avenue de Bâle 3, 1140 Evere (SNCB Bordet station, STIB Da Vinci stop)

- status : Employee, 3/5° or 4/5°, 6 months fixed term contract with a perspective of permanent contract

- salary: Scale: 2641€ TP Gross (=> 3/5 = 1584€) + double vacation pay,

- annual sector bonus (CP200) and ecocheques, end of year bonus, travel expenses.
